How do I set up an appointment?

Is what we talk about confidential?

Yes! Confidentiality is one of the most sacred parts of the counseling relationship. Confidentiality is the key to creating an environment where you feel safe and able to work through personal issues. Your right to confidentiality will be carefully maintained and will not be disclosed without your written permission, except in cases of possible harm to yourself or others (especially children or the elderly) or a criminal court subpoena.

When can I come in?

Appointments are available Monday through Friday at Midtown Psychotherapy Associates. Contact me to find out when you can schedule your first appointment.

Do you accept my insurance?

Although I do not accept insurance, I can provide you a superbill or receipt of services. This can be used to attempt to receive reimbursement from your insurance company. Since not all insurance plans provide out of network reimbursement, check with your insurance plan first to determine eligibility.

How much should I expect to pay?

A typical session is 55 minutes and there is a flat rate of $120 per session. Initial Sessions are usually 90 minutes to cover as much ground as possible and are $180.

I do provide discounted rates on an as needed basis. If you may need a discounted rate give me a call so we can discuss 678.948.8057

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

If you need to reschedule your appointment with more than 24 hours before the start of session, please call or email with no fee. If you need to reschedule or cancel your regular session within 24 hours of the start of session a fee equaling your session rate will be charged to the card you have provided on file. Emergency situations are considered on a case to case basis for waiving the fee.
